Wests lost Russell Johnsone & John Elford on Thursday with ankle & leg injuries then on Friday Rod Smith with a knee injury they were replaced by George Skeers, Jon Clark & Barry Bryant with John Baker moving to lock.
Owen O'Donnell with a leg injury & Ross Warner bruised ribs both dropped out of the Norths team and were replaced by Kerry Collien & Dick Harris.
Dick Harris was replaced at halftime by Ross Franklin due to a shoulder injury.
