Manly lost Graham Eadie at halftime with a hamstring injury he was replaced Terry Randall with Ray Branighan moving to fullback, John O'Neill suffered a back injury in the 2nd half and was replaced by John Bucknell.
Phil Kliendienst injured a shoulder midway through the 2nd half and was replaced by Wayne Melville.
