Alan Ashmore was listed in the programme as A.Aiken and reported in newspapers following the game as Alan Aiken it was not revealed until early the following week to be actually Alan Ashmore a Canberra Rugby Union winger.
John Baker withdrew from the Wests team on Thursday and was replaced by John Walker with Russell Johnstone moving to the 2nd row.
Alan Ashmore replaced John Elford at halftime due to concussion, Ford replaced Mullins & Sheridan for Walker.
