Match Notes
This game was originally to be played Friday 20 Feb at 8:30pm but due to heavy rained was postponed and played on Sunday at 4:30pm.
John O'Neill has signed to play with Souths during the week and replaced Gary Souter in the starting lineup.
Bob O'Reilly dropped out of the Penrith team with a leg injury and was replaced by Russell Hughes, Glenn West was a late withdrawal and was replaced by Ken Wilson.
Greg Purcell, John O'Neill & David Grant were replaced at halftime by Paul Peachey, Gary Souter & Bill Annabel. South coach Johnny King accidently sent on a 5th replacement Trevor Reardon when Sait & Piggins left the field injured at the same time in the 2nd half. Ken Stewart ran on first followed by Reardon when he realised his error a few minutes later he quickly got Reardon off the field and Sait back on.
