Match Notes
Ross Kidd dropped out of the Canterbury team and was replaced by Terry Bawden in the centre with Bob Doyle moving to halfback. However despite being in the program as no.4 Doyle played in Kidd's no.7 and Bawden played in no.4 this resulted in Bob Doyle being credited with a try in newspapers that was actually scored by Bawden.
