Bill Mullins dropped out of a 14 man Easts team, Kevin Junee with an ankle injury and Louis Neumann bruised ribs withdrew from the team Thursday and were replaced by Johnny Mayes & John Quayle with Jim Morgan the new captain.
Bob Carnegie left the field in the 2nd half with a broken arm and was replaced by Graham Matthews.
