Match Notes
Bob Fulton dropped out of the Manly team early in the week with a broken finger, Mal Reilly with rib cartlidge & Fred Jones also dropped out latter in the week the replacements were Gary Thoroughgood, John Bucknall & Max Krilich, Terry Randall moved to lock with Bucknall in the 2nd row. Bill Hamilton was named the new captain.
Graham Eadie dislocated a collarbone in the 38th minute that was later put back in successfully and was replaced by Mark Willoughby at halftime.
