Match Notes
Balmain had to make last minute changes to their team as they had not complied with the rule that they had to field at least 7 players who had played the previous premiership game in the starting lineup in the Tooth Cup. Therefore Schaefer, Davidson & Pringle had to move from the reserves into the starting lineup and Wigham, Corowa & Pilon to the reserves.
Mark Levy, John Kolc, Paul Hunt & Bruce Grimaldi were non-playing reserves for Parramatta.
Frank Marino was a non-playing reserve for Balmain.
Peter Sterling was the Superstar Player of the Series.
