Match Notes
Ernie Graham was a late replacement for John Armstrong in the Canterbury team.
Peter Wright dropped out of the Penrith on Saturday with the flu and was replaced by Bruce Ward.
In the 2nd half Canterbury lost Les Johns with a hamstring injury & Alan Burwell suffering a foot injury, Peter Inskip moved to fullback and Rod Jackson came in on the wing and Graham Tucker replaced Burwell.
Penrith replaced Reg Hatton in the 2nd half due to a shoulder injury with John Moran, Ian McKenchnie also injured a shoulder and was replaced by Ray Steele.
